Nepal

Nepal is a landlocked country in South Asia, bordered by China to the north and India to the south, east, and west. It is known for its stunning mountain landscapes, including Mount Everest. Nepal has a diverse culture, with a blend of Hindu and Buddhist traditions. The history of Nepal is characterized by a long line of monarchs, with the Shah dynasty ruling the country for over two centuries until the monarchy was abolished in 2008. Nepal also experienced a decade-long civil war between Maoist rebels and government forces, which ended in 2006 with a peace agreement. Today, Nepal is a federal democratic republic with a growing economy, heavily reliant on tourism and agriculture.
