Narendra Modi is an Indian politician and current Prime Minister of India, serving since 2014. He was born on September 17, 1950, in Gujarat, India. He was a member of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the 1980s. Modi served as the Chief Minister of Gujarat from 2001 to 2014, known for his economic policies and infrastructure development in the state. He led the BJP to a landslide victory in the 2014 general elections, becoming the 14th Prime Minister of India. He won a second term in 2019.
