Jeff Bezos, born on January 12, 1964, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, is an American entrepreneur best known as the founder and CEO of Amazon, the world's largest online retailer. Bezos graduated from Princeton University with a degree in computer science and started his career on Wall Street. In 1994, he founded Amazon in his garage as an online bookstore, which eventually grew into a multi-billion dollar e-commerce empire. Bezos expanded Amazon's offerings to include cloud computing services, consumer electronics, and more. He also owns The Washington Post and founded the aerospace manufacturer Blue Origin. As of 2021, Bezos is one of the wealthiest individuals in the world.
