On 08/05/2015, Prince Harry, then serving as Captain Harry Wales, officially завершил his month-long secondment with the Australian Defence Force (ADF), marking the final stage of his active military career. The attachment, which took place across April and early May 2015, involved working alongside Australian Army units in multiple locations. During the secondment, Prince Harry trained with units including the 2nd Commando Regiment in Sydney and the Special Air Service Regiment in Western Australia, as well as participating in exercises in the Northern Territory. The programme was part of ongoing defence cooperation between the United Kingdom and Australia, allowing for shared operational experience and training. The conclusion of the secondment on 08/05/2015 signaled the end of his last formal military assignment before leaving the British Army. Having served for 10 years, including two tours of duty in Afghanistan, Prince Harry formally resigned his Short Service Commission on 19/06/2015. This final deployment brought together his operational experience and international military cooperation, closing a chapter of service that had begun when he entered the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in 2005.
