In 1991, founder George Wills’s daughter, Heather Matthews, joined Little’s after graduating from university. She began working across reservations and marketing at a time when the office team consisted of just her parents and two other members of staff.
During her postgraduate studies, Heather had developed experience in marketing, prompting George to ask her to undertake a six-month placement focused on promoting Little’s to financial-services clients from London. The initiative generated substantial new business and contributed to the company’s growth during the 1990s. Heather subsequently decided to build her career within the family business, becoming a partner in 1997.In 1991, founder George Wills’s daughter, Heather Matthews, joined Little’s after graduating from university.
