Little’s Handles VIP Transport at The Open

In July 2023, we managed VIP transportation for a major sponsor of The 151st Open at Royal Liverpool Golf Club in Hoylake. The Championship was staged from 16 to 23 July, returning to Royal Liverpool for the first time since 2014. Our programme covered airport and rail transfers, dedicated VIP vehicles, on-demand transport to and from the course, luxury mini-coach shuttles and transportation for a gala dinner. A Little’s Transport Manager was based on site, working with the client, The R&A and other transport teams while coordinating chauffeurs, coach drivers, courtesy-car drivers and ground staff. Our reservations team also provided 24-hour support from head office. Across the assignment, we handled nearly 250 vehicle movements. The operation required detailed coordination across the Championship week, including daily vehicle checks and the management of vehicles supplied to the client as part of its sponsorship arrangements.
