Sam Altman is a successful entrepreneur and investor known for his work in the technology industry. Born in 1985, he co-founded Loopt, a location-based social networking mobile app, at the age of 19. After Loopt was acquired, Altman became the president of Y Combinator, a prestigious startup accelerator. Under his leadership, Y Combinator has funded and mentored numerous successful startups, including Dropbox and Airbnb.
