Melinda French Gates

Melinda French Gates is a philanthropist, businesswoman, and co-founder of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Born in Dallas, Texas, in 1964, she earned a degree in computer science and economics from Duke University before working at Microsoft, where she met her future husband, Bill Gates. After leaving Microsoft, Melinda focused on her philanthropic work, co-founding the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation in 2000. The foundation is one of the largest private charitable foundations in the world, working to improve global health, reduce poverty, and increase access to education. Melinda has dedicated her life to advocating for women's rights, education, and healthcare, and continues to be a prominent figure in the philanthropic world.
