Danny DeVito (born November 17, 1944, U.S.) is a beloved American actor, comedian, and filmmaker known for his distinctive voice, humor, and dynamic personality. He first rose to fame as the quirky dispatcher Louie De Palma on the TV show Taxi (1978–1983), which won him a Golden Globe and an Emmy. He went on to star in memorable films like Matilda (1996), Twins (1988), and Batman Returns (1992) as the Penguin. More recently, he’s a fan favorite on the TV show It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia as the outrageous Frank Reynolds.
