Opening of Low Wood Bay's Outdoor Thermal Spa

In April 2019, we opened the outdoor thermal area at The Spa at Low Wood Bay, expanding the resort’s spa facilities on the shores of Windermere. Our company history records the opening as April 2019 and describes the new facilities as including a heated outdoor infinity pool, hot tubs, sauna, fire pit and drinks service. The outdoor area was designed to make the lakeside setting an integral part of the spa experience. The infinity pool provides panoramic views across Windermere and the surrounding Lakeland fells, while the Fellside Sauna, outdoor hot tubs and fire pit created additional spaces for guests to spend time outside throughout their thermal journey. The opening extended the range of wellness facilities available at Low Wood Bay and formed part of the resort’s wider development as a spa destination.
