Indoor Section of The Spa at Low Wood Bay Opened

In September 2018, we opened The Spa and its indoor thermal area at Low Wood Bay Resort & Spa, adding a dedicated wellness experience to the resort overlooking Windermere. The opening formed part of the wider redevelopment of Low Wood Bay, which had begun with major works in 2017. Our company history records September 2018 as the opening of the spa and indoor thermal facilities. The new facilities introduced a Thermal Journey alongside dedicated treatment spaces. The indoor thermal experience included water, heat and relaxation facilities, while treatments used ESPA products alongside our own Berry & Birch range. The indoor spa pools and hydrotherapy facilities were completed in 2018 as part of the development. The opening established the indoor component of The Spa at Low Wood Bay; further development followed with the addition of the outdoor thermal facilities. Today, the indoor area remains part of the spa's Thermal Journey, with facilities including a relaxation pool, steam cabin, dry salt sauna and experience shower.
