On 31 March 1966, we incorporated Blunsdon House Hotel Limited as a private limited company in England and Wales. Registered as company number 00875727, the new company provided a formal corporate structure for the hotel business that the Clifford family had been developing at Blunsdon House. The incorporation followed several stages in the property's development as a hospitality business. Peter and Zan Clifford had begun taking bed-and-breakfast guests in 1957, Blunsdon House became a country club in 1960 and a licensed hotel in 1962.
