Blunsdon House Hotel Celebrates 50 Years with BWH Hotels

In February 2026, we were recognised for 50 years with BWH Hotels GB at the group's Annual Members Conference. Blunsdon House Hotel, BW Premier Collection, received the longest-service recognition of the year, reflecting a relationship that began in 1976 while the hotel remained independently owned and operated by the Clifford family. The anniversary was celebrated during the BWH Hotels Gala Dinner, part of the 2026 Annual Members Conference at The Belfry Hotel & Resort. Blunsdon House led the Long Service Awards at 50 years, alongside other member hotels recognised for partnerships ranging from 25 to 40 years. Five decades after joining the network, Blunsdon House remained a four-star, third-generation family business. General manager Peter Johnson described the relationship as one that combined continued family ownership with BWH's commercial support and professional network.
