Release of the movie Kindergarten Cop

On 21/12/1990, the action comedy film Kindergarten Cop, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, was released in North American theaters. Directed by Ivan Reitman, the movie cast Schwarzenegger as Detective John Kimble, a police officer assigned to go undercover as a kindergarten teacher in order to locate the ex wife and son of a dangerous drug dealer. The film marked another collaboration between Schwarzenegger and Reitman following their earlier success with Twins in 1988. The story follows Kimble as he takes over a kindergarten class in Astoria, Oregon, while searching for the family connected to the suspect.
