Peter Marbach Joins the Arden Dies Board

On 1 April 2000, Peter Marbach was appointed a director of Arden Dies Limited. Companies House records confirm the appointment and show that, on the same date, Karl Georg Marbach stepped down from the Arden Dies board. Peter had already been a director of Arden Software Limited since March 1991. The appointment continued the formal relationship between the Poynter and Marbach businesses that had begun in 1984, when German die-making specialist Marbach acquired a shareholding in Arden Dies. That relationship developed into a long-term joint venture: Marbach continues to identify Arden Dies within its international network of joint ventures, while Arden describes Marbach as its co-owner and partner.
