On 11/03/2026, the regional conflict involving Iran, Israel, and Arab Gulf states escalated with coordinated missile and rocket attacks across multiple fronts. According to assessments from the Institute for the Study of War and Critical Threats Project, Iran launched at least five missile barrages toward Israel between 10/03/2026 and 11/03/2026. Israeli air defense systems intercepted the incoming threats, and analysts reported no confirmed ballistic missile impacts inside Israel during that specific reporting window. At the same time, Iran targeted radar and missile defense infrastructure across the Gulf, but interception rates remained high, including in the United Arab Emirates, which had previously reported intercepting the majority of incoming projectiles.
Hezbollah significantly increased its own activity on 11/03/2026, launching multiple rocket barrages into northern Israel. One barrage reportedly contained more than 100 rockets, with impacts recorded in areas including Haifa and parts of the Galilee. Israeli media cited by analysts reported that at least five people were wounded in northern Israel during these strikes. Hezbollah announced a “new operation” the same day and employed a mix of rockets and other projectiles targeting Israeli military positions along the northern front. The volume of attacks exceeded the group’s recent daily activity levels observed earlier in the conflict.
Analysts reported that Iran and Hezbollah coordinated the timing of their attacks on 11/03/2026, marking the first confirmed operational coordination between the two since the broader conflict began on 28/02/2026. Israeli sources also warned of a possible expansion of attacks following the synchronized strikes. Concurrently, Iranian drones and missiles were launched toward Gulf states including the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Kuwait, with regional air defenses intercepting many of the projectiles, though some debris caused localized damage.
Israeli military statements on 11/03/2026 indicated that ongoing air and missile strikes had degraded Iranian launch capabilities. The Israel Defense Forces reported destroying more than 300 Iranian ballistic missile launchers, which they estimated represented about 60 percent of Iran’s launcher stockpile. These strikes formed part of broader operations targeting missile production sites, launch infrastructure, and command facilities across Iran.
