Prince Harry Bids Farewell to Australia and Meets Fans

On 07/05/2015, Prince Harry, serving as Captain Harry Wales, made a public appearance at the Sydney Opera House to mark the conclusion of his month-long secondment with the Australian Defence Force (ADF). The event took place one day before the official end of his attachment and served as a closing engagement during his time in Australia. The appearance drew members of the public and military personnel, reflecting the attention surrounding his final overseas military assignment. During the event, Prince Harry acknowledged the experience he had gained while working alongside Australian units and expressed appreciation for the support he received throughout the secondment. His time with the ADF, which spanned April to early May 2015, included training and operational exposure with units such as the 2nd Commando Regiment in Sydney and the Special Air Service Regiment in Western Australia.
