Retirement of Fleet Engineer Jim Rae After 45 Years

In September 2026, we came together at Kimpton Blythswood Square Hotel & Spa in Glasgow to mark the retirement of our Fleet Engineer, Jim Rae, following 45 years with Little’s. Jim was our longest-serving employee, and throughout his career his knowledge and experience played an important part in keeping the Little’s fleet on the road. The retirement celebration brought colleagues together to share stories and memories from Jim’s four and a half decades with the business. His work largely took place behind the scenes, maintaining our vehicles and supporting generations of chauffeurs, but his contribution was felt across Little’s. The evening gave us an opportunity to recognise that contribution and thank Jim for his many years of service before wishing him well in retirement.
