In 2024, we committed more than £1 million to expanding and renewing our vehicle fleet as the business continued its recovery and growth following the COVID-19 pandemic. The investment focused particularly on newer, higher-capacity people carriers, allowing us to accommodate more passengers within individual vehicles while reducing the carbon footprint per passenger. Independent coverage of Little’s later confirmed the scale and timing of the investment.
The investment followed a period of strong post-pandemic trading. Our company history records post-COVID performance as the strongest in Little’s history, following the sharp reduction in activity during the pandemic and the subsequent return of international, corporate and leisure travel. Fleet renewal also supported our environmental plans; Little’s has progressively increased the proportion of hybrid vehicles within its Scottish fleet and subsequently moved to an all-hybrid Scottish saloon fleet
