By the 1980s, Little’s had grown to a fleet of 10 cars. As the business expanded, our existing premises were no longer sufficient, leading us to move operations to a larger garage and shopfront on Paisley Road West in Glasgow. That site became Little’s headquarters and remains our head office today.
The move reflected the changing nature of the business. Having started in 1966 as a three-car taxi firm serving primarily wedding and leisure customers, Little’s was developing a larger chauffeur-drive operation. Demand from Scotland’s shipbuilding, whisky and financial-services sectors was also creating more corporate chauffeur work during this period
