KellyBronze Christmas Press Event at Jamie Oliver HQ

In 2018, Jamie Oliver invited our KellyBronze team to hold a Christmas press event at his headquarters near Holloway Road in north London. The event brought together members of the food media for a turkey masterclass led by our Managing Director, Paul Kelly, and built on Jamie's established association with KellyBronze. Our company history records the invitation as part of our 2018 activities. Jamie attended the event himself, welcoming guests and speaking about his relationship with Paul and KellyBronze. Paul then demonstrated how to prepare and carve a whole turkey, explaining our approach to cooking and resting the bird. The discussion also addressed the difference between buying a whole turkey and a turkey crown, including the potential for using the legs, dark meat and carcass rather than discarding parts of the bird. The event gave us an opportunity ahead of Christmas to demonstrate our cooking methods directly to food writers and other guests in a working culinary setting. Rather than simply presenting the finished product, the session focused on practical preparation, carving and reducing food waste.
