Appointed to Farm Christmas Turkeys for Duchy Originals

In 2001, we were appointed by Duchy Originals, the organic food brand founded by the then Prince Charles, to farm its Christmas turkeys. The appointment brought KellyBronze into a range built around organic farming and provided an important new outlet for our traditionally reared Christmas birds. KellyBronze’s own company history records the appointment under the heading “Organic for the Prince.” The relationship came as our network of growers was expanding and the KellyBronze name was becoming more established in the UK. Later independent accounts also confirm that Duchy Originals appointed the Kelly family to produce its Christmas turkeys in 2001.
