Opening of Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill Philippines

The Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill Philippines officially opened to the public on 31/08/2024 at Newport World Resorts in Pasay City, marking the Michelin starred chef’s first restaurant in the Philippines and the second Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill concept in Asia. The restaurant is located on the second floor of the Newport Grand Wing and occupies approximately 400 square meters, with seating capacity for up to 100 guests. Reservations for the highly anticipated opening began on 20/08/2024, ahead of the launch weekend. The venue features a contemporary British inspired interior that combines imported Spanish tiles with bespoke Filipino made furniture and dark wood accents. The restaurant focuses on quintessential British classics and premium grilled selections associated with the Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill brand. Signature dishes include the Beef Wellington, traditional Fish and Chips, and Crab Cake with Sturia Oscietra caviar, alongside dry aged steaks and seafood offerings. A large seafood tower featuring Boston lobster, king crab, and oysters is among the premium selections available. The concept follows the London based Bar & Grill model, emphasizing seasonal ingredients, grilled meats, and classic British plates served in a formal dining environment. Operating hours were structured around lunch and dinner service. Lunch runs from 12 PM to 3 PM on weekdays and 11 AM to 3 PM on weekends, while dinner service is scheduled daily from 6 PM to 11 PM. The restaurant also introduced curated dining options including a weekday 48 Minute Lunch Express starting at ₱1,488 and a weekend Great British Brunch available from 11 AM to 2 PM starting at ₱2,888. These set menus were designed to provide structured dining experiences within specific timeframes while showcasing the restaurant’s signature dishes. The opening added the Gordon Ramsay Restaurants brand to Newport World Resorts’ existing lineup of international dining concepts located near Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3. The Pasay City venue became the first Gordon Ramsay branded restaurant in the country, following similar Bar & Grill locations in London and Malaysia.
