Matt Wilkinson Appointed to Board of Directors

In September 2013, we appointed Matt Wilkinson to the Board of Directors of English Lakes Hotels Resorts & Venues. Matt had joined the company in August 2001, making his appointment the culmination of more than 12 years' experience within the business. Our company history records both his original joining date and his appointment to the board. Matt subsequently served as Finance Director, bringing his knowledge of the group's operations and finances into its senior decision-making. His continued place on the board is confirmed by later reporting on the expansion of English Lakes' executive team in 2022, when he was listed alongside members of the Berry family and the group's newly promoted directors. The 2013 appointment reflected the progression of an established member of the English Lakes team into a senior leadership position and added his long-standing experience of the business to the board.
