The Supreme Court issued an unsigned order rejecting the application by the State of Texas to prevent the State of Pennsylvania, along with Michigan, Wisconsin, and Georgia, from certifying their Presidential election results. Texas claimed that the changes in election procedures in these swing states, purportedly due to the COVID-19 pandemic, were unconstitutional and led to an unfair advantage to then-President-elect Joe Biden. This decision followed numerous other legal challenges aimed at overturning the election results, all of which had failed.
