In a commanding performance at Nassau’s Thomas A. Robinson National Stadium on January 4, 2025, the Buffalo Bulls crushed the Liberty Flames 26-7 to claim the 2024 Bahamas Bowl. First-year head coach Pete Lembo’s squad, rebounding from a 3-9 season, finished 9-4 and won their fourth consecutive bowl game.
Kicker Upton Bellenfant drilled four field goals, including a 52-yarder, while RB Al-Jay Henderson (Offensive MVP) rushed for 119 yards and a 45-yard TD. The Bulls’ defense, led by Defensive MVP Red Murdock (13 tackles, two forced fumbles, pick-six), forced three turnovers and held Liberty to 137 passing yards and 57 rushing. Liberty (8-4) managed only a late touchdown, extending their bowl losing streak to four games.
