The Lion King

The Lion King (1994) is a landmark animated musical drama film produced by Walt Disney Feature Animation and directed by Roger Allers and Rob Minkoff. Set in the African savanna, the story follows Simba, a young lion prince destined to succeed his father, Mufasa, as king of the Pride Lands. After Mufasa is murdered by Simba’s treacherous uncle Scar, Simba flees into exile, overwhelmed by guilt.
