On 12/03/2026, the ongoing 2026 Iran War expanded across multiple fronts as Israel carried out large-scale strikes in Iran and Lebanon while Iranian drones targeted the United Arab Emirates. The Israeli military launched what it described as a wide-scale wave of strikes across Tehran, focusing on military garrisons, air defense systems, and internal security facilities. Among the reported targets was the Parchin Military Complex, where a strike hit the Taleghan 2 high-explosive testing chamber. Satellite imagery analysis also indicated damage at the Khavar Shahr Military Garrison and structures within the Hakimiyeh Military Complex. The strikes formed part of Israel’s continued campaign against Iranian missile infrastructure and military command facilities.
In Lebanon, Israeli forces intensified airstrikes on Beirut overnight. The Israel Defense Forces stated that Hussein Makled, identified as head of Hezbollah’s intelligence headquarters, was killed in strikes in the capital. Additional reported casualties included Adham Adnan al-Othman, described as a commander affiliated with Palestinian Islamic Jihad, along with relatives of former Hezbollah leaders. The strikes followed increased rocket fire from Hezbollah into northern Israel and formed part of an expanding air campaign targeting command structures and operational personnel in Beirut and surrounding areas.
On the same day, Iranian drones targeted Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. One drone struck a fuel tank near Dubai International Airport, causing a fire and prompting a temporary suspension of flights. Emirati authorities reported that air defenses intercepted additional incoming drones, but falling debris landed in residential areas. Damage was reported at the 23 Marina tower in Dubai Marina and in the Al Barsha district. A Pakistani national was reported killed after debris struck a populated area, while emergency services responded to scattered fires and structural damage.
