Howard Smith Becomes President

In 1995, Howard Smith became president of Wilson Bohannan, more than two decades after joining our accounting department in 1973. His appointment continued the company's connection with the Bohannan family: Howard was married to Pam Norris Smith, a descendant of founder Wilson Bohannan. Howard went on to lead the company through a period of manufacturing and product development at our Marion, Ohio, plant. He later served as president and CEO and remained closely involved with Wilson Bohannan for decades, representing a long period of continuity in the leadership of the family-owned business.
