Continued Manufacturing and Facility Development in Marion

In 2026, Wilson Bohannan continued to develop its manufacturing operations at our long-established Marion, Ohio, location. Marion’s America 250 industrial-history coverage reported that the company was expanding its facilities while continuing to manufacture in the community. The development followed recent investment in production technology, including robotic polishing equipment designed to increase capacity within the existing manufacturing operation. The company remained under multigenerational family leadership during this period. Howard Smith continued as President, while Sarah Rassell served as Executive Vice President and represented the seventh generation of the family involved in the business. Our Marion operation remained the center of Wilson Bohannan manufacturing, continuing a local presence that dates to the company’s relocation from Brooklyn in the 1920s.
