Better Business Bureau Opens Wilson Bohannan Business Profile

On 8 January 1999, the Better Business Bureau opened its business file for Wilson Bohannan Lock Company. The date relates specifically to the creation of the BBB record rather than the founding, incorporation or start of operations of the company, whose history dates to 1860 in Brooklyn and whose manufacturing operations have been based in Marion, Ohio, since the 1920s. The BBB file provides an additional modern third-party record of the business and its operations in Marion. In the context of our company timeline, the 1999 date is best understood as an administrative milestone documenting Wilson Bohannan within the BBB system, rather than a change in ownership or manufacturing operations.
