160-Year Milestone Award Formally Recognised

On 18 November 2020, Wilson Bohannan was formally recognised as the 160-year Milestone Award honoree during the Conway Center for Family Business's annual Family Business Awards programme. Held virtually in 2020, the event recognised Central Ohio family businesses for achievements including significant anniversaries, succession and community involvement. Our recognition marked 160 years since Wilson Bohannan began making padlocks in Brooklyn in 1860. By 2020, the company remained family owned and continued manufacturing in Marion, Ohio, where production had been based since the 1920s. The Conway Center recognition placed that anniversary within its broader programme celebrating the continuity of family enterprises in Central Ohio.
