In April 1976, Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak, and Ronald Wayne founded Apple Computer Company, which is now known as Apple Inc., in a partnership that began in Jobs's parents' home. The initial operations were conducted in Jobs's bedroom before moving to the garage, a setting that has become iconic in the tech industry. Wayne, however, left the partnership shortly after its inception, leaving Jobs and Wozniak as the primary cofounders. The name 'Apple' was inspired by Jobs's visit to an apple orchard in Oregon, where he was captivated by the fruit and its simplicity. To finance the production of their first batch of Apple I computers, Wozniak sold his HP scientific calculator, while Jobs sold his Volkswagen van. Their efforts paid off when computer retailer Paul Terrell purchased 50 fully assembled Apple I units for $500 each later that year. In total, around 200 Apple I computers were produced, marking the beginning of what would become one of the most influential technology companies in the world. #mooflife #mof #MomentOfLife #AppleComputer #SteveJobs #SteveWozniak #TechnologyHistory #FoundingOfApple
