The War of the Castilian Succession came to an end in Spain. This war, which lasted for several years, was fought between two factions vying for the throne of Castile: Isabella of Castile and Juana Enríquez. Isabella, with the support of her husband Ferdinand of Aragon, emerged victorious. This marked a significant turning point in Spanish history as Isabella became Queen of Castile, and eventually, together with Ferdinand, they united their territories and laid the foundations of modern Spain. This union would later be known as the Catholic Monarchs. Their reign brought stability to the region and set the stage for Spain's golden age of exploration, colonization, and arts. #Spain #WaroftheCastilianSuccession #IsabellaandFerdinand #CatholicMonarchs
