Piers Stefan O'Meara: Birth and Early Life 

Piers Morgan, born Piers Stefan O'Meara on March 30, 1965, in Reigate, Surrey, is a prominent British journalist and television personality. He is the son of Vincent Eamonn O'Meara, an Irish dentist, and Gabrielle Georgina Sybille (née Oliver), an English woman who raised him in the Catholic faith. Shortly after his birth, the family relocated to Newick, East Sussex. Tragically, Morgan's father passed away when he was just 11 months old. His mother later remarried Glynne Pughe-Morgan, a Welsh pub landlord, from whom Piers adopted his stepfather's surname. Morgan's educational journey began at the independent Cumnor House prep school, followed by Chailey School, a comprehensive secondary school, and then Priory School in Lewes for his sixth form studies.
