IOC Provisionally Lifts Suspension of the Russian Olympic Committee

Meanwhile, implementation of the IOC's decision varied among international federations. Sports such as World Aquatics and the International Fencing Federation had already eased restrictions, while organizations including World Athletics maintained their own independent bans on Russian participation.
