In 1889, Nikola Tesla transitioned from the Liberty Street shop rented by Peck and Brown to a series of laboratories in Manhattan, marking a significant period in his career. The financial success he achieved from licensing his alternating current (AC) patents provided him with the independence to focus on his innovative pursuits. Over the next twelve years, Tesla operated from various locations, including a lab at 175 Grand Street from 1889 to 1892, followed by the fourth floor of 33–35 South Fifth Avenue from 1892 to 1895, and finally the sixth and seventh floors of 46 & 48 East Houston Street from 1895 to 1902. These workshops became the birthplace of some of Tesla's most groundbreaking inventions and experiments, solidifying his legacy as a pioneer in electrical engineering. His work during this period laid the foundation for modern electrical systems and showcased his relentless pursuit of knowledge and innovation. #mooflife #mof #MomentOfLife #NikolaTesla #AcPatents #NewYorkLaboratories #ElectricalEngineering #Innovation
