Miss World 2025 (the 72nd edition of the Miss World pageant) concluded on 31 May 2025 in Hyderabad, Telangana, India, where Opal Suchata Chuangsri of Thailand was crowned the new Miss World. She received the crown from the outgoing titleholder, Krystyna Pyszková of the Czech Republic, after emerging on top of a field of 108 contestants.
The result was historic for Thailand: it was widely reported as the country’s first Miss World win. The final night also confirmed key placements, with Hasset Dereje Admassu (Ethiopia) named first runner-up. The event formed part of a multi-week festival hosted in Hyderabad and was presented on the night by Stephanie Del Valle (Miss World 2016) alongside Indian presenter Sachiin Kumbhar.
