Claude 3.5 Haiku — Introduced

Anthropic introduced Claude 3.5 Haiku on October 22, 2024, as the next-generation fast and efficient model in the Claude family. It was designed to provide stronger performance than the previous Claude 3 Haiku while maintaining the speed and cost advantages of the Haiku series.
